me: whatever you say don't matter, because in the end that's exactly what you did
at least i expected the disappointment, right? i mean, i can't say i was surprised you hurt me once again. but i can't say it hurt any less either. maybe it's true, there are those people you encounter in life whom you never really get over. even if you meet others who treat you better and love you more, there is always that person you can't quite completely forget at the back of your mind. It doesn't matter how it happened. or even why. what matters is it did. i've made mistakes, and i know it. but i'm happy with who i am, because that's all i need.
i guess my only regret is that i couldn't give you enough reasons to stay.
